Maleme Mare Hotel - Maleme (Crete)

Had a sweet as time, but the food turned out a bit samey after a few days. The gardens were fine, though, really added to the vibe.

Our large family loved the fine seafront views from our spacious room. The pools were fantastic, and my little one enjoyed splashing around. Especially Stavros.

My kids wished there were more activities specifically for families.

The hotel is right at the beach promenade and only a short walk from Apostolakis Handmade Ceramics. The staff were friendly and accommodating .

I loved my stay here, especially the comfortable bed and the tasty special meals they prepared for my husband with coeliac disease. The outdoor swimming pool and the sun terrace were perfect spots to unwind and relax. While the variety of meal options was decent, I think a few more fresh selections would have been great. 😄

The pools were fantastic and the bar had great cocktails, especially the ones made by Sasha. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the nearby city with its charming views. Highly recommend taking boat trips, they're a blast!

One downside was the food quality. Some of the meat seemed a bit off, like it was cooked from frozen instead of fresh. Not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning.

Stayed in a Beautiful Apartment from 2024-06-10. The hotel had beautiful gardens and two lovely pools. Staff really friendly, especially Stavros. Food was decent but sometimes lacked variety. Enjoyed the evening entertainment. The live music added fun to our nights.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, with well-maintained gardens and accessible areas, made moving around easy for my elderly companions. The relaxing atmosphere allowed us to fully enjoy the serene surroundings .

More shade by the pool would be beneficial.

The hotel had great pools and a large bar area. the internet connection was surprisingly fast and cheap. the location was convenient for exploring nearby beaches and towns.

Our self-catering apartment had basic cooking facilities, making it difficult to cook substantial meals. the resort lacked charm and had few dining options.

This hotel is situated in a perfect location right on the beach, which provides stunning views and opportunities for relaxation. the staff is friendly and welcoming, with excellent service throughout the stay. the rooms were of high standards and cleaned daily. the pool area was well-maintained, and there were plenty of sun loungers.

There were limited cooking facilities in some of the rooms that were a bit dated, but this left little room for complaints with all the restaurants in the surrounding area.
